Sophia Kamm has joined AMS Genetics and AI Total US serving as an Administrative Intern. Sophia is eager to join the team and further her knowledge of dairy genetics. In this role, Sophia will be assisting with a variety of on-going projects for AMS Genetics and AI Total US including analyzing the genetics runs and assisting with client lists, checking on donor availability, domestic shipments and digital marketing. “Sophia brings enthusiasm and a deep appreciation and knowledge for the industry. We are excited to have her on the team,” said Jennifer Dingbaum, Genetics Consolidated US.
A freshman at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls pursuing a degree in Dairy Science, Sophia hopes of returning to her family's dairy. Her family farm, Nova Registered Holsteins and Jerseys, milks 170-head where a strong emphasis is put on genetics and cow families.
Sophia is excited to learn about the other side of the industry and expand her knowledge and experiences as a young professional in the dairy industry.
